Welcome to Uniquely Nico Atelier.

These Terms of Service apply to your use of our website and online store, and to any purchases made through our website. Throughout these Terms, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Uniquely Nico Atelier. “You” and “your” refer to the customer, visitor, or user of our website.

By accessing our website, browsing our products, placing an order, or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service, together with any policies referenced on our website, including our Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy, Returns and Cancellations Policy, and Product Care guidance.

If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our website or place an order.

1. About Uniquely Nico Atelier

Uniquely Nico Atelier is a British accessories brand creating made-to-order, handcrafted bags for bridal, occasion, and event dressing.

Each bag is individually handcrafted in our East Anglia studio. We do not mass-produce or hold large stock levels. Our products are made with care, and many items are produced according to customer-selected options, including colour, material, and closure finish.

2. Use of Our Website

You agree to use our website for lawful purposes only.

You must not use our website in a way that may damage, disable, overburden, impair, or interfere with the operation of the website, or with another person’s use of the website.

You must not attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the website, customer accounts, payment systems, or related systems.

3. Product Information

We make every effort to describe and present our products accurately.

However, as each bag is handcrafted, slight variations in colour, texture, shape, structure, finish, and appearance may occur. These variations form part of the character of a handmade piece and will not normally be considered faults.

Product images, colour guides, ribbon images, and finish images are provided to help customers make an informed choice. Colours may vary depending on screen settings, lighting, photography, material texture, and the way the finished bag reflects light.

For satin bags, ribbon colour images may be shown as a guide to the Berisfords double-faced satin ribbon shade used to create your bag. These images show the ribbon before it is handwoven into the finished UNA silhouette. The finished appearance may vary slightly from the flat ribbon image due to the woven texture, light reflection, screen settings, and handcrafted construction.

For metallic luxe cord bags, the metallic finish may appear slightly different depending on lighting, angle, and screen settings.

4. Orders

When you place an order through our website, you are making an offer to purchase the selected product.

An order is only accepted once payment has been received and your order has been confirmed. We reserve the right to refuse, amend, or cancel an order where necessary, including where there has been an error in product information, pricing, availability, shipping details, or payment processing.

Please check your order carefully before submitting it, including the product, colour, material, closure finish, delivery address, and contact details.

Because our bags are made to order and produced according to the customer’s selected options, we may be unable to make changes once an order has been confirmed.

5. Made-to-Order and Customer-Specified Items

Each Uniquely Nico Atelier bag is made to order and handcrafted individually once an order has been confirmed.

Customer-selected options may include, but are not limited to, colour, material, style, and closure finish. These selections form part of the specification of the item ordered.

Because our bags are made to order and may be produced according to customer-specified choices, cancellations and returns are governed by our Returns and Cancellations Policy.

6. Cancellations, Returns, and Refunds

Please refer to our Returns and Cancellations Policy for full information about cancellations, returns, faulty items, damaged items, incorrect items, and refunds.

In summary, because our bags are made to order and handcrafted individually once an order has been confirmed, we are unable to accept cancellations or returns for change of mind on made-to-order, bespoke, personalised, or customer-specified items.

This includes customer-selected colours, materials, and closure finishes.

If your order arrives faulty, damaged, or not as described, please contact us within 14 days of delivery at sales@uniquelynicoatelier.com so that we can review the issue and arrange an appropriate remedy in accordance with your statutory rights.

Your statutory rights are not affected.

7. Prices and Payment

All prices are shown on our website and are subject to change without notice.

The price payable for your order will be the price shown at the time you place your order, unless there has been an obvious error.

Payment must be made in full at the time of ordering. We use secure third-party payment providers to process payments. We do not store your full payment card details.

Prices shown may not include delivery charges, import duties, taxes, customs clearance fees, or other charges unless expressly stated.

8. Shipping and Delivery

Every bag is made to order and handcrafted in our East Anglia studio. To allow for the care and craftsmanship that go into each piece, orders are dispatched within 14 calendar days of the order date and payment confirmation.

Delivery times are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Delivery may be affected by location, courier delays, customs processing, weather, public holidays, or events outside our control.

Where possible, parcels are sent using a tracked and insured shipping service, with a signature required upon delivery. Once your order is on its way, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information.

Once an order has been dispatched, customers are responsible for monitoring the tracking information provided.

We do not currently offer collection from the atelier.

9. International Orders, Customs, and Import Charges

International orders may be subject to import duties, taxes, customs clearance fees, and/or other charges upon arrival in the destination country.

These charges are the responsibility of the recipient and are not included in the shipping cost paid at checkout. Uniquely Nico Atelier has no control over these charges and cannot predict their amount.

We recommend contacting your local customs office for further information before placing your order.

10. Product Care

Customers are responsible for following the Product Care guidance provided on our website.

Our bags are handcrafted structured accessories and should be treated gently to preserve their beauty, shape, and finish. Failure to follow appropriate care guidance may affect the condition and longevity of the item.

11. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including but not limited to text, product names, product descriptions, designs, images, graphics, logos, branding, layout, and other materials, belongs to Uniquely Nico Atelier or is used with permission from the relevant rights holder.

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, publish, display, sell, exploit, or use any part of our website, product copy, images, designs, branding, or materials without our prior written permission.

Unauthorised use of our intellectual property may result in legal action.

Our website may include links to third-party websites, services, payment providers, apps, or platforms.

We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, availability, privacy practices, or terms of any third-party websites or services. If you choose to access third-party links or services, you do so at your own risk.

13. Shopify

Our online store is powered by Shopify, which enables us to provide our website and ecommerce services.

Any purchases made through our store are made directly with Uniquely Nico Atelier. Shopify is not responsible for any aspect of the sale between you and Uniquely Nico Atelier, including products, fulfilment, delivery, customer service, returns, or any issue arising from your purchase.

Your use of our website is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

By using our website or placing an order, you acknowledge that personal information may be collected and processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and by relevant third-party service providers, including Shopify and payment providers, where necessary to operate the website and fulfil your order.

We may ask for your permission before using customer photographs or testimonials for marketing purposes.

We are not responsible for losses caused by events outside our reasonable control, including courier delays, customs delays, technical failures, payment provider issues, or interruptions to website availability.

This may include, but is not limited to, courier disruption, postal delays, customs delays, severe weather, illness, supply chain disruption, strikes, technical failures, changes in law, or other circumstances beyond our control.
