Satin Ovoid Bags

Our Satin Ovoid and Pearl Ovoid bags are handwoven using Berisfords double-faced satin ribbon. According to Berisfords’ satin ribbon care guidance, the ribbon itself is machine washable at 50°C on a synthetics cycle, can be cool ironed up to 110°C, and should not be bleached.

As each UNA satin bag is a handcrafted structured piece with a magnetic clasp closure, we recommend gentle cleaning and careful handling rather than frequent machine washing.

Spot clean gently where possible using a soft, damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals, bleach, or abrasive cleaning products. Do not soak the clasp or leave metal hardware wet.

If washing is required, place the bag inside a protective mesh wash bag. Machine wash cold or at a low temperature on a gentle synthetics cycle with a low spin. Gently reshape while damp and leave to air dry naturally. Do not tumble dry the finished bag. Cool iron only if needed, avoiding direct contact with the clasp or structured areas.

Metallic Luxe Cord Bags

Our Crystal Ovoid bags are made using metallic luxe cord and finished with a Square Hook & Eye Fastener Metallic closure. As handcrafted structured pieces with a light-catching metallic finish, they should not be machine washed, soaked, tumble dried, or ironed.

Wipe gently with a soft, dry cloth. If needed, use a slightly damp cloth and allow the bag to air dry naturally. Avoid harsh chemicals, bleach, abrasive cloths, and prolonged exposure to moisture. Do not leave metal hardware wet.

Storage

When not in use, store your UNA bag inside its protective dust bag. Keep it in a dry place, away from direct sunlight, excessive heat, damp conditions, and heavy items that may press against or distort its shape.
